Mair Family Downloads
During the day I'm a C/C++ programmer. I also like to code for fun (massochistic I suppose). In the course of programming for fun I occasionally end up producing material that might be useful to a broader audience. So, as a result, the following items have been developed and are available for download. They are offered as-is with no warranty or support, use at your own risk. You can send messages to the downloads mailbox at mair-family dot org (shouldn't be hard to re-assemble the actual mail address). I don't guarantee a response to any messages but I will read them.

A C++ WebCam viewer and still/time-lapse capture application |

A C# .NET assembly that will create one to three re-sized versions of image files in a specified directory. I wrote this to ease the generation of web content from my digital cameras. It requires the .NET framework 1.1 which you can get from Microsoft though it should be standard on most recent versions of Windows that have been kept up-to-date. Updated 8/21/2005 Version 2.1.18 |

| SOUNDGEN | A WindowsTM tone generator application. Frequency, phase, pan, amplitude and waveform are configurable. Uses your existing sound card. It doesn't create music so turn down the volume before testing it. I wrote it to test my home theatre system. | |
| SNTPCLOCK | A little application for monitoring NTP servers (via SNTP, sometimes called NTP Peering). Provides information on the operation of the NTP server and indicates if drifts are observed. |
|
| VPCTIME | Virtual PCTM guest timesync daemon for MS-DOSTM (in the form of a TSR). Also has a programming interface that will permit MS-DOS TM applications to be modified and re-compiled to obtain host time on demand. It should work with other DOS versions but hasn't been tried with any. | MD5: 38ebecf5a3c404bcbc80c6349f5b1cd5 |
| UKKEY | MS-DOSTM keyboard driver for UK keyboards that occupies only 284 bytes when resident (versus 6.7kB for the MS-DOS TM version). | MD5: ec0fc825c5a14667ea13e00cc1ec8b30 |
| RIGLIB | A new project, a ham radio remote control library. It's very much a starting point only. | |
| More to come... |
